Sandra Spence Receives SGCD Founder's Award
Sandra Spence was presented the SGCD Founder's Award at the Deco '06 Awards Celebration on Monday, March 27th. Ms. Spence served as executive director of SGCD from 1992 until her retirement in 2000. Under her direction, SGCD saw record membership and annual meeting attendance. Ms. Spence developed a strong communications program for SGCD including Corporate Member meetings, regularly scheduled newsletters and the SGCD website. She also consolidated SGCD's operations and restored the organization to financial health.
